GETTING HERE & PARKING
In addition to Wickham’s existing car parks, festival parking is available in the following locations…
Park and Stride (£1 per car)
There is an easy walk (around 7 minutes) from the car park at Park Place Pastoral Centre to Wickham Square and this will be signposted on the day.

Park and ride (£1 per car)
This is the largest car park and offers easy access in and out. A new coach and three minibuses will operate from 10.45am until 4.45pm.
The entrance is opposite McCarthy’s on Winchester Road, and the festival bus stop is adjacent to the Winchester Road entrance to Wickham Square.

Disabled passenger drop-off point
A disabled passenger drop-off point is available in the Star Corner layby, Fareham Rd, Wickham, PO17 5DJ.
This layby is closed to the public and is shared with the event’s park and ride service.
Drivers will be directed into this drop-off point by marshals. Access to the layby is available to blue badge holders only.
If drop-off vehicles need to drive to the car parks, please drive down to the roundabout to make a u-turn and return back up Winchester Road.
Parking for disabled badge holders
Due to very limited parking areas in the village, only four disabled driver parking spaces are available for badge holders only. These spaces are situated inside the road closure, outside Veranda Indian Restaurant in The Square (PO17 5DQ). Please approach via Station Road. This parking will fill up very quickly. On the day, Please ask a marshal at the Bridge Street / Station Road junction if a space is available here.
If these spaces are full, please drop passengers to The Square (as shown above) and park at the Park and Ride car park at McCarthys Farm to take the minibus.
Regrettably, the coach and minibuses are unable to accommodate wheelchairs.
Bicycle parking
If you are cycling to Taste of Wickham, local bike racks are available. Possessions are left at the owner’s risk.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs (and their owners!) are welcome at the festival. Dogs must be on leads at all times.
Resident & road closure information
Road closure order
An official Road Closure Order is in place form Hampshire Highways which will be in effect from 6am until 7pm on Sunday 13 September. The Square, Dairymoor and Star Corner Kuti’s layby are officially closed to vehicles from 6am to 7pm.
The entire Square will be closed, from Woodies to Veranda. Activities will be situated in the parking bays between the Woodies and Veranda.
Vehicles in The Square
Residents are kindly asked to remove their vehicles before 5.30am on the day of the event. Any vehicles left within the road closure area will not be accessible after 6am and will be blocked by stalls until 7pm.
Please do not park in the Wickham Centre Car Park
The Wickham Centre’s private car park is for Wickham Centre paying customers only.
The car park will be full with official hirers during the weekend of the event and vehicles without a permit will be clamped.
Disabled residents
Please park at the Station Car Park, displaying your badge at all times. The Kutis layby will be closed to all vehicles this year as part of the road closure order.
